REPOSITORY INSTAGRAM CREATIVE PROCESS JOURNAL
These are design outcomes for my research for my final year project in LASALLE. For my project, I’m studying how the forming of digital identities is designed by young individuals as a means of exploration and extension of one’s self-expression in the metaverse, through digital wearables.
Design brief:
1. Create a research repository pertaining to your research.
2. Design an artefact that encapsulates the 4 components - Demographic, Geographic, Behavioural, and Psychographic of your target audience.
3. Design publication(s) to present the experiments and/or ideas/concepts based on the approaches introduced - Solve, Provoke, Narrate, Speculate.
Design outcomes:
1. A research repository on a website which consists of a compilation of my research findings. insights, and readers.
2. An Instagram account that represents young consumers’ social media driven desire to express themselves online.
3A. A speculative publication that seeks to imagine and articulate the unlimited potential of digital fashion.
3B. A publication that narrates the evolution of self-expression through fashion from the 1950s until today - from tangible wear to screenwear, from self-expression through the bodies of models to self-expression through one’s own body.
